Blooms Day is the annual celebration of James Joyce's epic novel Ulysses where all the action of the novel takes place on 16th June. One of the characters travels to Rostrevor by the sea and our local theatre company The Light Theatre company have been doing an annual celebration of readings, plays and songs from or connected to the book. This year we're taking part in two performances on 16th and 18th - years ago we recorded Love's Old Sweet Song which is one of the key songs mentioned and will look forward to reprieving a rendition of it.
