Fun at Bloomsday

All dressed up for Bloomsday - we were part of a lovely evening of readings from Ulysses interspersed with songs mentioned in the book - check out our version of Love's Old Sweet Song which is referred to as being sung by Molly Bloom .   James Joyce's epic novel is set entirely in one day - 16th June - and Bloomsday (from the character Leopold Bloom) is now celebrated all over the world.   While the majority of the action takes place in Dublin, one of the characters, a pub waitress, Miss Douce, talks about her recent holiday in Rostrevor - hence our connection to the book.  Organised by the LIght Theatre Company
